Mike Gordon

Burlington, Vermont-based bassist and musician Mike Gordon is known primarily as a member of seminal jam band Phish. In addition to his work with Phish, Gordon has been involved in dozens of musical side projects, working with guitar virtuoso Leo Kottke as well as notable jam bands like the Benevento-Russo Duo. Since 2008 Gordon has been focused primarily on his solo work, touring with a full band and releasing full-length records. Gordon's music combines many aspects of folk and country, but most obviously draws on funk, showcasing his bass playing talent.
