Dala

About

Dala is an acoustic folk duo from Ontario, Canada that has become an especially prolific and talented act since forming in 2002. Noticed for their genuine vocal and musical talents, the two ladies of Dala, Sheila Carabine and Amanda Walther, were almost immediately picked up by an artist development label, ultimately signing with Universal Records in 2005. Since then, Dala has recorded several acclaimed albums that have been featured on Canadian radio and television, and in 2010, Dala was featured by PBS on a special program celebrating Canada's best all-female musical acts.
