The misleadingly titled California Guitar Trio has little to nothing to do with the Golden State. Comprised of members Paul Richards, Bert Lams and Hideyo Moriya, the three hail from Utah, Belgium and Japan, respectively. Despite the trio's vague relationship to California, the group is likely in California more often than any of their original locations. Combining the three member's virtuoso guitar abilities with their eclectic taste in genres like contemporary classical, rock, folk and blues, the trio has released a wide swath of original and re-interpreted material.
