Rodrigo Alejandro Bueno, famously known as "El Potro" Rodrigo, was born on May 24, 1973, in Córdoba, Argentina. He became one of the most influential figures in Argentine cuarteto music, starting his career at a young age and later performing with local bands like Manto Negro. His solo career took off in the 1990s, and he gained national fame with albums such as A 2000, which went quadruple platinum. Known for his energetic performances and unique style, Rodrigo expanded the popularity of cuarteto beyond Córdoba. Despite his success, he faced personal challenges, including a demanding schedule and struggles with alcohol. He tragically passed away in a car accident on June 24, 2000, at the height of his career. Rodrigo's legacy lives on through his hit songs and albums that continue to influence Argentine music.
