Deez Nuts is a hardcore/rapcore band from Melbourne, Australia that rose from the ashes of the (now reformed) metalcore band I Killed the Prom Queen in 2007. Led by the latter band's drummer JJ Peters, Deez Nuts was quick to achieve success on the heels of his previous band effort. Since releasing its critically acclaimed debut album Stay True in 2008, the members of Deez Nuts have been kept busy touring and recording albums, particularly JJ Peters, who reunited with I Killed the Prom Queen.
