High Tension Wires is a punk band from Denton, Texas. The group takes the low, chugging basslines and aggressive vocal delivery of old-school punk rock and combines it with a garage-inspired guitar attack akin to popular 2000s acts such as The Strokes. High Tension Wires is already known throughout Denton and surrounding areas for its live-wire performances, and with recent slots at Austin's SXSW showcases, the group should continue to turn the heads of garage-style punk rock fans.
