Los Angeles-based rapper Kenan Bell uses laid back, soulful beats to create his unique version of hip-hop. After gaining some notoriety around Southern California scenes, he gained more mainstream exposure after his song "Like This" was featured on the soundtrack of the popular video game franchise, NBA 2K, in 2009. Bell's idiosyncratic flow and overall style put him a bit in the realm of alternative hip-hop, but his songs are poppy and accessible enough to find fans throughout the musical spectrum. His debut, Until the Future, was released in 2010.
