Honing their skills in bands like High on Fire, Zeke, House of Honour and Sceret Chiefs 3, the guys in Oakland, California-based duo Omens of Awe know how to produce a mountain of the sound. Although armed with a veritable wall of amps and a bevvy of effects pedals, the bass and drums duo seems to produce the majority of their heavy sound through sheer force of will. The band's instrumental compositions are snake though complex changes and odd arrangements without betraying their fundamental commitment to rocking everyone's face clean off.
