Yung Quis is a Southern hip-hop rapper based in the Houston, Texas area. Inspired by other Southern hip-hop artists both past and present, including Outkast, UGK and Ludacris, as well as by the harder-edged East Coast rap of Tupac Shakur, Yung Quis has made a name for himself throughout Texas based on the merits of a couple of his self-released mix-tapes. His boastful gangsta rap style and flow should continue to appeal to fans of Southern hip-hop and rap in general.
