The Damnwells is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York that formed in 2001 and has since toured the US extensively, on top of making several appearances on national TV and radio. The band's first album, Bastards of the Beat was recorded primarily in the bedroom of The Damnwells' lead singer/songwriter Alex Dezen, which almost immediately caught the attention of major record labels upon its release. The Damnwells has since released several critically-acclaimed albums, and have been regular fixtures at top venues and music festivals throughout the country.
