Melinda Watts has been singing and writing songs since she was a 12 year-old in Sacramento, California. In 2008, her music career began in earnest when she won the "Gospel Dream" contest, which instantly earned her a recording deal and a legion of fans. Whether Watts is singing gospel or more of a pop/rock format, all of her music has a decidedly religious bent as a result of her deep religious faith and her strong desire to share that faith with the world.
