Dallas singer-songwriter and underground legend T. Tex Edwards has been charting so-called "cowpunk" and "honkytonk murder ballads" since the 70s when punk first began to dominate. T. Tex has led many different bands through out his career, his group Out On Parole the most notable of them all. In a genre dominated by tradition and rare unconventionality, T. Tex has been a pioneer in the vain of Johnny Cash, yet with out even a drop of the same credit. There is no stopping Edwards though, as he continues to tour through the country pushing his unique sound.
