California band The Burning of Rome fuses Gothic rock elements with synthesizers and other electronic elements in a way that uniquely combines dark and light sonic flavors. The band also brings a theatrical component to its live shows, dressing in costumes and make-up and bringing the group's sound to life in a way that its music alone could not. The group's debut full-length came out in 2011.
