Eulogies

Primarily the project of Peter Walker, a Los Angeles singer/songwriter who turned to writing music after the near simultaneous birth of his own son and premature death of his best friend's son. The resulting musical endeavor was appropriately dubbed Eulogies and came to fruition with the inclusion of three other LA musicians. While the band's inspiration and title might lead the listener to believe that its music is equally mournful, Eulogies' sound is actually that of upbeat indie rock, more of a remembrance and celebration of life than a preoccupation with death.
