About
30 Seconds to Mars is a rock band from Los Angeles that makes a progressive style of post hardcore music. Helmed by sometimes actor Jared Leto, 30 Seconds to Mars was founded in 1998 and the group managed to find a regional fan base in the Southern California region before it released its self-titled debut in 2002. Having since gone on to maintain a fairly busy recording and touring schedule, the group has established itself as one of the more popular hard rock acts of its generation.
